Day 1

Pangkalan Bun, Kumai

Upon arrival in Pangkalan Bun you'll be met and transfered to Kumai for boarding to the Kelotok. Leaving Kumai River, you'll have an opportunity to see river front life. Borneo has so many rivers so boat is the main transportation here. May you also see a thousand high building like hotel with tiny holes, such as an semi-wild swift poultry to harvest its nest. Then, cruising to Sekonyer River, the estuarine habitat with unique vegetation called mangrove. Watch along the river bands for wildlife such as Proboscis Monkey (the endemic monkey in Borneo), Long-tailed Macaque, Red-leaf Monkey, Silvered Langur or Birdlife along river side. Cruising 3 hours from harbour to Rimba Lodge will give you opportunity to see groups of Proboscis monkey (the endemic primate in Borneo). Dinner will be served in the boat at 19:00, then check in to Homestay as your accommodation.

Day 2

Pondok Tanggui, Camp Leakey

Leaving at 7 am from accommodation, you will enjoy your breakfast in the boat while cruising to Pondok Tanggui, orangutan feeding will be 9 am. This place is nice, even the orangutan not attend on the feeding platform sometimes in the fruit season, but this is really good. It means, orangutan prefer to have a natural food and able to survive in the jungle. After watching orangutan, next destination is Camp Leakey, the legendary Orangutan Rehabilitation Camp, where Prof. Birute MF. Galdikas starting her study in early 1971.

Boating a side creek through tea colored water where you will see the magnificent reflection from the vegetation along the river, when lucky with you, the fresh water crocodile and other wildlife attraction could find a long river bands. After having lunch and departingin Camp Leakey, we can spend the rest of the day by hiking through the Borneo rainforest, then enjoying Orangutan feeding time at 2 pm. The next 1 hours we have to leave from feeding station area in Camp Leakey to give privacy for Orangutan, its time to build nest.

Cruising down to Sekonyer River, we have opportunity to see Probocis monkey, Long-tailed Macaque and birdlife along the river banks. Takes approximately 3 hours on medium speed from Camp Leakey to Rimba Lodge. Having dinner on boat then check in to your lodge.

Day 3

Canoeing-Pesalat, Tanjung Harapan

Accompanied by villager, you will enjoy a jungle walk for 3,5 hours. Your trip will meet a small black wayer river where another man from the village waiting you with a small canoe. You will have an experience to ride a small canoe just like a locals, paddling down to the artery river in the jungle.

After having lunch, you'll have a short trekking on the wooden jetty, then visiting a forest tree seeding. The aims for enriching food-tree of orangutan and also rehabilitate land after fire and logging. You will plant a tree as a small contribution to the nature and providing food for wildlife in the future.

Next, we cruising to the down stream in Sekonyer River, our next destination is Tanjung Harapan. Orangutan feeding will be 3 pm. If we have a plenty time, having a short walking-sight seeing in the Sei Sekonyer Village will be nice to see settlement near the park.

After visiting feeding station, we continue to down stream to see packs of Proboscis monkey in the roosting trees. Spotting big dominat male will be really interesting.

Looking for a good place to have dinner beneath fireflies. If the weather good (no rain, no wind), we can see a million of fireflies like a Christmas tree, but we can't guarantee about this. We will try to do best effort and find out best place. Dinner beneath fireflies, After dinner, go straight to your accommodation.

Day 4

Kumai, Pangkalan Bun, Makassar (Flight)

Today, we will let you have experience having breakfast on your accommodation, since we can leave at 7.30 am. The tour still not end, you still have 2,5 hours cruising down to Sekonyer river. Still any possibilities to see wildlife. Enjoying your coffee in the boat while exploring the river in the morniing, may you meet orangutan foraging in the tree around river bank. It will offer you incredible experience. Long-snout crocodile also often busking on the sun in the river bank when the weather really good. Departing Kumai about 10 am, you'll be transfered to Pangkalan Bun Airport, possible to visit our orangutan souvenir and handicraft gallery before your flight.

Day 5

Makassar - Transfer In

Upon arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, retrieve your luggage from luggage belt. Afterwards, take the exit gate to find your guide who will bring a signboard with your name written on it. He will then transfer you to your hotel. In the evening at 7 pm, meet your guide at the hotel lobby and he will take you to experience authentic seafood dinner at local restaurant. Makassar known as the seafood distribution in Indonesia considering as the city is the main hub of the fisherman boat. Back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 6

Makassar, Maros, Toraja

After breakfast and check out. Drive approximately 1 hours to Rammang-Rammang in the Maros Regency. Take a boat and explore the magnificent views of the 3rd largest karst forest in the world. Continue your trip to the north and lunch will be served at Restaurant near Pare-Pare, a small port situated 155 kms north of Makassar. Enjoy afternoon coffee or tea with spectacular view of Bambapuang Mountain before you arrive in Toraja. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Rantepao, Toraja.

Day 7

Toraja

After breakfast at hotel. A full day exploring Toraja Land, A statue of Jesus Christ at Makale in Tana Toraja Regency. It is the tallest statue of Jesus Christ in the world - with its height at 40 metres. It stands on the top of BUNTU BURAKE hill about 1.100 metres above sea level. Continue to visiting the cliff-side stone grave with wooden effigies on the balcony at LEMO,then continue to LONDA to visit coffins hang from cracks in the rocky face. Lifelike wooden sculptures or effigies complete with clothes, stand in neat rows in cracks hollowed out in the cliff faces, very much like the windows & balconies of a house. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. After Lunch, visiting the traditional wooden carving village at KETE KESU. Late afternoon back to hotel for your overnight stay and dinner.

Day 8

Toraja Shore Excursion

Wake up early to catch the beautiful sunrise at LOLAI, then back to hotel for showering and breakfast. After breakfast at hotel. The second fullday excursion, visit the traditional cotton weaving village at SA’DAN. The ancient megalithic stones in BORI and then proceed to SESEAN mount to view the large-ricefield terraces at BATUTUMONGA. Lunch will be served on this spot. After Lunch, continue to visit the boulder grave at LOKO' MATA', then take a nature-walk (an easy walk) through the rice-field and find some local tribes activities along the way down to the village and later on, you will be picked up by our driver and transfer back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Note : A traditional funeral ceremony which can be reached by foot will be included within these two days tours. A typical Torajan local fruits and LIVESTOCK MARKET can also be visited.

Day 9

Toraja, Makassar - Transfer Out

Breakfast at hotel. Leaving Toraja Land for Makassar. Lunch at Kupa Beach Restaurant near Pare-Pare. After lunch, proceed to Makassar and directly to the Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport for check in Hotel Transit.

Day 10

Sorong, Transfer to Raja Ampat

After breakfast, take a private car for a very short ride to the airport and catch a flight to the eastern part of the Archipelago. Meet a local driver in Sorong and let him take you to the hotel. The remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 11

Start the Raja Ampat Cruise

Pick up in style at your hotel and drive to the fast boat that will bring you to Waisai, the capital of Raja Ampat where the cruise starts. Cruise west and enjoy a swim, a check dive and relax, whilst contemplating the white sandy beaches of Mioskon Island and its famous seamount, Blue Magic. Enjoy an evening drink as you watch the sunset ballet of fruit bats flying away to feed.

Day 12

Manta Rays and Waterfall

North Batanta offers shining waters and dozens of islets and sandbanks where it is easy to find manta rays or even witness history in the form of a well-barnacled World War II Japanese aircraft. On land, take a short walk to a beautiful and refreshing waterfall. Finish your day relaxing and dreaming on the sun deck as you continue sailing south to Misool Island.

Day 13

Underwater Wonderlands

The Daram Islands are the easternmost island group in the Misool area. Thanks to a strict no-fishing policy, you will be able to see some of the most impressive sea fan forests and soft corals known to the world. With easy snorkeling and diving, sites such as Andiamo or Candy Store are truly psychedelic underwater wonderlands where barracudas gliding above the pygmy seahorses are a common sight.

Day 14

Stunning Natural Labirynth

Misool North Eastern line of islands is a natural labyrinth made of cone-shaped rocks, sheer cliffs, and hidden pools. At the right time of year, some of the inner lagoons play host to thousands of stingless jellyfish, offering fantastic photo opportunities for undersea photo lovers. Explore the above and underwater caves of the area where nudibranchs, rare mollusks, and crustaceans crawl on the rich soft coral cover.

Day 15

Sorong - Departure

Enjoy breakfast before saying goodbye to your crew. Straight from the port, we will transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
